there are several instances of this in Vancouver... there's even an intersection with two Starbucks kitty corner from each other, and a mall with at least 4 Starbucks' in it. it's wonderful.....

I remember the Pre-Starbuckian world. Going down to neighborhood coffee shop to do homework or get a good game of chess in. Or coming in at night to catch up with friends and listen to live music. Real art work from local artists on the wall... It was beautiful.

I think I can top that. There's a church here near Sacramento, Ca that has it's own Starbucks, and in the south area there are two Starbucks in the same strip mall.

This is amazing, but he has a point. I have been to areas that have two Starbucks that are less than 2 miles from each other..

That's true. I recall him saying, "When I gazed across the street I saw another Starbucks!' "I rubbed my eyes and blinked thinking maybe the sun was playing tricks on my eyes?". But no....it was a Starbucks! Check him out on...."how to survive the holidays"
