This totally revolutionized my carding.

Ashley, this is a wonderful video! I love your voice and the clear instruction. You gave me some confidence and inspiration that I can do some beautiful things with my little hand-me-down drum carder!
And like other comments, I LOVE the sandwich idea, this is new to me and I will definitely be using this with my wool and mohair that I have dyed!

Love the "sandwich" technique (fibers piled into sandwich)!! Fun, fun, fun :)
Did you make the beautiful felted cowl that you are wearing in this video? If so, you definately should make a video on how to make it. Love it!!

Great video darlin!! The only thing I want to mention is, Cashmere doesn't go for "hundreds and hundreds of dollars an ounce"... lol, it sometimes feels that way though! You can get it for $20-40 an oz retail, or if you import direct, it is a lot less. ;)

where can you buy fibers from???
-
love the finches in the background

that came out beautifully

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
The Louet I use (from my local guild in Scotland) doesn't have the groove on the licker-in drum but, if I'm careful, I can still get the fibre from it to the large drum at the end.
Love your videos!
