After flying in for Fleur de Lindy on Wed night and getting recharged in the room we got wind from one of the organizers, Katherine Griffin that the legendary Loose Marbles (best band EVER) was performing on Royal Street, so we strolled over to Royal Street to check the band out.
On this rare occasion, Kelly Arsenault, Todd Yannacone and Peter Loggins were jamming with the band.
Peter Strom was dancing with Amy Johnson (who alongside Chance Bushman travels, performs & teaches with the Loose Marbles) on the sidewalk, alongside my friends Taryn Brandt and Jeong-taek Lim.
It was a very cool night, with gorgeous warm Spring-like weather with just the band and a few bystanders and some dancers sharing an intimate and wonderful experience - away from the craziness of Bourbon Street.
Yeah that Creole cookin' will do that.
You're bound to "get wind" from at least ONE organizer.
