@KCY4LUNG that's sad. I think we'd be a natural entry in the rowing events, not necessarily dragonboat (kasi nga hindi naman counted as Olympic event ang dragonboat). Rowing events can include those single men's or women's , or in pairs, or in teams. If the reason is pagtitipid, then maybe we can sent at least someone for the individual rowing event. Natural kasi sa pinoy ang malakas sumagwan given that we are an archipelago. Muro-ami's lang, ang bibilis sumagwan inter-island pa!

because the people we send and sponsor in the olympics are mostly officials and not athletes. inspite of the millions of funding that is given to the PSC, about 12 people or less are sent. we'd be lucky enough to send even more than 5 athletes. I'm not sure where the money is going that would had sponsored them.

iv friend from PHIL DRAGON BOAT TEAM who compete few years back... lage gold ang panalo nila pero iv never heard any appreciation from our government. why? so sad. :(

alam nyo pagmahilig kayo manuod ng international competition masarap ang pakiramdam kung LUPANG HINIRANG ang tinutugtog sa awarding at lahat ng tao sa buong mundo mgbigay respeto sa bansa natin na tayo ang champion!
