Any help in identifying the date that this film was taken would be appreciated! It appears to be a new ladder truck for Fire Station 41 in Cleveland, Ohio.
@wgladx THANK YOU so much for the information that you've provided me. I will try to contact Mr. Nelson today! Thank you once again for your help! I appreciate it, sincerely.
Recommend you contact Paul Nelson at the Western Reserve Fire Museum of Cleveland {OH}. I will forward this video to him. Paul is the Historian and could probably narrow it down to the day. He has also written the complete history of the Cleveland Fire Department. He is there on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can be reached at 216-664-6312 or nelsonp@wrfmc.com. The truck is one of two 1948 Seagrave 100' aerial ladders and this one was stationed at Station 41 on July 21, 1948.
@catman5169 Thank you for your input, catman! I believe the clip is from the early 50's for at least 3 reasons. 1. My aunt starting dating a Cleveland fire chief's son around 1950. 2. The earliest film I have been able to confirm the date from my grandparents is April 1952. 3. My aunt married the fire chief's son in June of 1953 and lived in Wisconsin from that time forward. My guess is the film is from 1952. I did contact the station and mayor's office, but they never responded. Thanks!

It appears to be a late '40's model...based solely on looks and guessing at the age of the car in the clip...can't say for sure though...
