people don't like change. lived in bay ridge all my life and i've seen the change. some of the arab people are wonderful people but some are pure scumbags to be honest. especially the teen boys who are caught in b/w cultures. everyone not near that area of bay ridge has a total distrust of the arabs in the community.
-
i'm being honest here, has anyone else heard that some arabs were actually celebrating on 5th ave on sept 11th? i remember a man in my co-op went to buy a flag and came back in rage over it

@fangandclaw123 as a kid it was mostly irish, italian, and norwegian as i remember. this was the '90s

this is a fine video.bay ridge has all the good and bad elements that come with living in a multicultural and stratofied economic community.i am happy to live here, despite the bigotry and ignorance.the more mixed the nieghborhood the better imho, when you get to many of one type of people be them irish, italian, middle eastern or greek etc. they will inevitibly celebrate their own stupidity,if i wanted to live in a complete cultural backwater i'd move to breezy point or staten island
