This was NOT a slip of the tongue. HE was receiving a lot of bad press at the time claiming he had no connection with thte Ausralian people.
John Howard was hated by many but he never cursed to try to appear to be 'one of the boys'
Just yesterday, Kevin Rudd told some of his own party (three of them women) to 'get fucked' and said 'I don't care what you fuckers think'
