The Chinese Taoist tradition has a method known as "Tai-Chi". It is a method of centering, a method of witnessing. They say do whatsoever, but remain conscious of the center at the navel. Walking, be conscious of the center at the navel. Eating, be conscious of the center at the navel. Fighting, be conscious of the center at the navel. Do whatsoever you are doing, but remain conscious of one thing: that you are centered in the navel. Again, if you are conscious of the navel, you cannot think. The moment you begin to think, you will not be conscious of the navel. - Osho

  • After nearly twenty years of study, I can tell you this is very poor Tai Chi,indeed. I hope they are getting some personal enrichment out of it.

  • Be at one with the Tao. Hold to center. To relax the mind and body is to bring peace. Life follows breath.

  • @tinyswallow Tai Chi is a morning activity at Osho Resort, in which new vistors get exposed to diffrent ways of meditation of which most of them are exposed to for the first time. This might explain the poor Tai Chi.

  • 2:34 Wow! I like how the peacock joins the group during their morning ritual....and the setting, it's gorgeous.

  • @g17y5wb Tai Chi is the most devastating art of all and I have studied them all. Go find a chinese master who will teach you the combat to it (it is not tai chi without the combat). Then you tell me what you think.

  • when does all this great being transfer to your fellow beings, I'm sure it does, but when to be your most natural state is to ignore no aspect of yourself>?

You should have a sister course that encourages expression of your nature, being that which is most pleasing, learning to do so in slightly more difficult in the presence of what could be perceived as stressful.

  • @tinyswallow I think that probably Tai Chi is not the point of the exercise. Poor or rich, it isn't important.

  • I thought tai chi was a martial art-- the art of self- defense against plants.

  • @dreamgnosis ha ha ha so true homer simpson

  • i find it hilarious when white people practice orient stuff, then find it necisary to dress as tho they where from the orient.

You can practice any spiritual practice and wear what ever you want.

also at 1 33 the guy on the right with glasses looks like homer simpson :P

  • the instructor himself looks tence himself, he`s tencing himselve to relief hahaha what`s the use. buuut practice makes perfect, I hope he will find the right way.....

  • only the guy at :24 an 1:20 has it close to right....all the other stances are not energy gathering but energy wasting. Also I see no breathing that these people are doing, which is the heart of tai chi....i mean real breathing...breath work!
