  • "Gibson Girl" had dignity, a quality woman. She read dignified historical novels like "To Have and To Hold" and "When Knighthood Was in Flower". She was an aristocrat and a sticlker for gallant behavior. Her appearance was proud and haughty, suggesting that she was a prize worth make some effort to win. Her clothing covered her from neck to heels but without any suggestion of puritanism, Gibson Girl had no stomach at all. Hail "Belle Epóche"!!!!

  • Fun to watch!

  • girl in the picture is a Berveglieri, great-aunt of my husband. She traveled on the Titanic, and survived. (5th photo)

  • @ronni1991 Thanks for the footage. Its like being transported back in time for a moment. I find the early 1900's to be very intresty.

  • Anyone notice at 2:14 this woman is wearing a very short skirt for that time period? It looks like a miniskirt sort of.
