Did surfers play a crucial role in creating hippie culture? High Times Creative Director Steven Hager thinks so. And no one played a more vital role than John Griggs, founder of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. Griggs will be inducted into the High Times Counterculture Hall of Fame at the 24th Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam this Thanksgiving.

  • "The Brotherhood" is that "The Brotherhood of Eternal Love"?

  • interesting. I always wondered what the connection was between surfing and smoking weed. I surf every day and i also blaze everyday. They do go together very well.

  • ...... Duh .... who WASN'T smuggling?

  • What spd 13062? Pot is just as plentiful in the OC now as it was then. I would even say it's more plentiful now. Besides the quality has got to be a lot better than the ditch weed of the seventies.

  • I agree.
