Paw-Five

I finally taught my cat how to paw-five. The bad part being he won't do it without a kitty treat.

So in this video I tried to call Snickers over but because I was short on time and he sat down and decided he had already done the "sit" command he refused to come on command. Then his sister and my other cat swarmed because I had treats. He wanted to do a paw-five wrong so I made him do it right before he got the reward.

It's relatively easy to train your cat to do this. Just search cat training on youtube along with high five it usually works. Once your cat knows how to sit on command all you have to do is hold a treat just out of reach. Let them tap it with a paw and then reward them. ._.

Note the cats did all receive treats after this because you can't honestly give a treat to one and not the others. Reba's, Snickers' sister, doesn't know tricks she's too fat already and if she hadn't heard the cat treats I wouldn't have given her one for coming over and sitting. Yes I know she's over weight we've tried dieting them but her brother's a pencil.
