Movie Plot: Mario Lanza's superb voice highlights this classy soap opera in which he plays an aspiring opera singer who falls for Joan Fontaine, a socialite who intends to promote his career. When she dumps him, he lands in Mexico, falls in love with a matador's daughter (Sarita Montiel) and tries to resurrect his dreams of stardom. With Vincent Price; Lanza sings a wide range of opera favorites.

Beautifully put together. Mario was the greatest ever! And Sarita Montiel is one of the most beautiful in cinema history. Quite a combo!
