BCM18 - Twin bridges megabattle

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Heroic. This shows a twin bridges megabattle against 52 covies, using my platform ambush plan. That's pretty awesome. What in the heck with that frag at 2:50??? You totally blindly destroyed him!! And I know with your grenading skills, that was NOT pure luck. You are easily the best at Halo 1 with grenades that I've ever seen.

When the Elite dived into the trough I knew the fall wasn't going to kill him, but I also expected him to be immobile for a moment, recovering, so I threw a frag after him hoping to finish him off. Well, *two* frags in case the first one bounced a bit far left. The first did the job though, heh heh.

How do you set this up? It's on Xbox right?

@SupportShotgun Yes, Xbox. If you follow the link in the description to get to the BCM18 page on my site, there's a link there to my twin bridges megabattle section, containing full details of how to set things up. But if you want Marines, it's a lot of extra work. Setting up a solo battle would be much easier and I'd certainly recommend doing that first (see my 'basic plan').

Epic rocket at 2:05. Nice. This reminds me of the enclosed room about half way through the Library, where I always end up hiding near one of the doors and shooting all the flood as they come round. Good stuff.

@urbnrflx Yeah that red got a bit of a surprise huh? About that sticky situation in the Library, you reminded me that I had something to post on that, so I've just done so (see 'Tackling the two door attack' in my level 7 fun section). I assume that's the bit you mean. Sounds like you were talking about the 'recess defence'.

@BadCyborgMovies Yeah, you're absolutely right about the section and the defence plan I use. I've actually NEVER been able to do this section on Legendary, I always have to hide. Never thought about using the plasma pistol before though, I'll have to go back and try.

@Gaunt128 Yep, those beaky fellows come in quite handy sometimes, and they're not even on the UNSC payroll. One even stole my kill here! As for jumping up on the pipe block, you can actually hide behind the nearest pipe (or behind the block) and attack the enemies from behind as they head for the Marines. I was having a go with that last night.

Awesome stuff. Some nicely timed sticks there. If I ever get around to setting one of these up, first thing I'll do is jump up on the pipe-block there and blast the covies from above.

One thing I noticed in both of your twin bridges megabattles, the jackals firing charged shots seemed to be more of a danger to their comrades than to you.
