Very cute! Could you tell me if you followed the instruction of "the half double crochet baby hat" by tjw1963 so it fit a 14in head or did you alter it for a larger size? I am trying to figure out how to get this hat to fit my daughter who will be 9mths in December and 17in head. Did you have to alter the stitching a bit so it would fit your daughter? If so could you tell me how you did it please. Thank you sooo much!

Yeah I just used a bit of a larger needle..i believe it wasthe next size up..I used both the half double and double and single crochet..depends on what i felt like..lol
but most of the time,these hats can grow with your child b/c they stretch.,..I reccomend doing one hat and then your would be able to gage wich needle would work best for your baby..the season is comin back up fro me to start hats again..I cant wait!
