  • How do you keep it from coming untied

  • @mschippie656 If you're using the slipknot technique, it's pretty good at staying tied. I've never had trouble with the slipknots coming untied or loose, even when kids are running around in it. The double knot technique will definitely stay on.

  • Hi, teacher please, answer ASAP if you have a eBook about Imperial, Peacok , Dresses, and others boutique style TUTUS , please.

    Thank You very much,

    Gigi

  • @maqsizu Hello again, the non sew ebook I have for sale shows how to make a turkey tutu aka triple layer technique, which can be used to make a peacock tutu... just change the colors. I also show how to make a regular tutu dress and an empire waist tutu dress. For the imperial tutu, you can follow the onesie tutu technique in the Easy Sew ebook by sewing the tulle layers to the lycra bodysuit. But you do need to sew. Or just make a regular tutu and wear it over a bodysuit. :)

  • Hi, I love your instructions !

I also would like to ask how can I makea Tutu wit 4 layers , would please teach me on that please....?

    Best regards

    Zizi

  • @maqsizu @maqsizu I don't show how to make a four layer tutu only because it will be too bulky at the waist. The only way to achieve a 4 layer tutu is to sew. I do show the triple layer tutu in the non sew ebook. :)

  • Hi!

Teacher do You have an Instructional eBook for Many layers, Imperial, Dresses, and many others Tutu for sale with All Instructions ?

If so, please let me know ASAP.

    Thanks,

    Gigi

  • Thanks, I'll try that. My husband came up with an idea as well, just don't know how it will work either. He said why not double the elastic and just sew it together in about four places to keep it together but leave in the stretch. I am going to try both ways. If that doesn't work, the larger sizes will just have to be made on ribbon instead. I don't want my product to suffer because there is too much tulle. I recently did a 48" waist. Cut the elastic 5 in short, then sewed. Never again.

  • @miamichild59 I've never tried making an adult tutu using more than one layer. I think you might want to start off cutting the elastic a few inches more than the waist measurement and sew the ends together. Once you have the desired amount of knots tied on, then you can cut the elastic down. I believe that will keep the elastic from overstretching. This is just a theory for larger waist sizes. I would love to hear if this works for you. :)
