F.C.Internazionale Milano and PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara

MILAN - F.C. Internazionale today signed a cooperation agreement with Russian Premier League club F.C. Krylia Sovetov Samara.

President Massimo Moratti, Pirelli president Marco Tronchetti Provera, Inter vice president Rinaldo Ghelfi and managing director Ernesto Paolillo met with Krylia president Igor Zavyalov and vice president Vasilios Ziakas in the club's trophy room at Palazzo Durini this morning to make the collaboration official.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two clubs will share experiences in the spheres of coaching, management and club infrastructure, with a particular focus on the development of youth football.

"We now have a strategic partner with whom we will work together on the further development of Krylia," Zavyalov was quoted as saying on Krylia's official website. "Collaboration with such a club is unique for the Russian football."

After their visit to Inter's headquarters the Russian delegation, which included Krylia managing director Iury Makeev and head coach Leonid Slutskiy, was accompanied to the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in Appiano Gentile by Ernesto Paolillo, Pirelli managing director Claudio De Conto, Pirelli Russia director Ajmone di Savoia and Leonardo Pavoni of Finmeccanica.

After a tour of Inter's training facility and a meeting with José Mourinho, the Krylia Sovetov officials posed for photos with the Portuguese coach and exchanged opinions on last night's clash against Manchester United, which they attended as guests of Pirelli.

Journalists from Sport Express and Ntv covered the day's events for a special reportage documenting the signing of this important collaboration between the two clubs.

Founded in 1942, F.C. Krylia Sovetov Samara are an emerging force in Russian football. They have played in the Russian Premier League for the past 17 seasons, achieving a record third place in 2004.
