Quick and easy protein smoothies. I have tried dozens of protein powders and this one is the BEST!!! It mixes well and doesn't tear up my stomach like some of the others. I drink protein before a work out, after a workout (to rebuild my muscles), and during the day as a meal replacement. I add flax seed oil to all of my smoothies but I kept forgetting to put it in the video. LOL! It was added later. Sometimes I use water instead of milk but it doesn't keep the hunger away for long.

  • Very good ideas, I can see that you also have some nutritional knowledge! - I just wanna make a suggestion.. The Syntha-6 you use consists og half protein/half carbs, and you already have enough carbs with the seeds and fruit, so you could make a more ideal smoothie with a protein powder with more protein value, for eksample the optimum nutrition product, or dymatize! - Thanks for the video

  • @kattemissen Thanks for the suggestion but I'll stick with Syntha-6 because it's the best protein that I have tried and I've been drinking protein for 20 years. Because I have such a high metabolism, I need more carbs. Can't afford to lose any weight. LOL! Besides, 13 grams isn't bad when you include the fiber which I don't think Dymatize has any (can't remember). Syntha-6 is easy on the stomach too. Thanks for watching!

  • @elj31326 They can be used for either.  I mostly make them as a quick meal to keep me from going to a fast food restaurant or immediately after I workout.

  • my question is can i use this as a meal replacement but i know i need something with little carbs and will it help me tone my body and lose weight especially in my stomach area. I'm also on thyroid meds. for hyperthyroidism which i was dropping weight fast and my body was on hyper drive. So i have to stay on the meds. but i need to tone up and lose weight

  • That is a great idea to grind the oatmeal first. I add oatmeal to my protein shake and sometimes chucks of oatmeal are in the shake. thanks

  • @kattemissen But if you like BSN you could use their Dessert product... but that is expensive
