A Peruvian staple, ceviche comes in many forms, but the basic ingredients are fresh fish and lime. Here I use Tilapia with diced tomato, onion, garlic, cilantro, salt and pepper along with the lime, of course. Ceviche is garnished with Peruvian popping corn, sweet potatoes and diced avocado.

  • bsantianni: Who told you this is how you make Peruvian ceviche??

I'm originally from Peru and I have never seen a Peruvian make ceviche like this.

We Peruvians are very proud and very particular about OUR CEVICHE.

If you're not going to make it how it is traditionally done, DON'T call it "PERUVIAN CEVICHE," because IS NOT!

    Do your research next time.

  • Neither does it include avocado, olive oil, or white onions cut like that! ijs...

  • @aquaphone u might want to try and educate yourself a little before you speak. Yes, there are many ways to make ceviche in peru, but the authentic peruvian ceviche DOES NOT include tomatoes! The Ecuadorian version of ceviche includes tomatoes!

  • @aquaphone : Judging by the replies you get on your channel, we can all see that you're nothing but trash, one of those idiots that comes to youtube to post hateful and ignorants comments. You're a clear example of how technology can be wasted at the hands of ignorant, hateful and trashy people... I feel sorry for you. Next time reply about something you seem to know: Japanese swords, violent video games, marihuana or maybe American hot dogs. What are you anyway?

  • @Alpaka8020 FYI, there is more than one way to make ceviche in Peru. Just like in America, there is more than one way to roast a turkey at Thanksgiving. I know, it's hard for you to understand, but we can't fault you. Another asshole who thinks just because he's from Peru, he is the authority on all Peruvian history and culture.

  • not only in peru

  • this ceviche is suck!!!!!

  • Might be a good recipe, but its by no means a Peruvian ceviche. Peruvian ceviche does not have tomatos and some of the other ingredients he used.
