What a machine. A cup of tea, strong, within seconds. And it is energy saving too. Every home should have one :) Thanks to Mike Riley for the recommendation.

  • Two years I use it and it works as new. Just descale it from time to time.

  • do the earplugs come with it ? :P

  • Great product i thought a first, but mine broke after 10 months!!! Go read the reviews on Amazon everyone is saying the same. A flawed product......Tefal should recall.

  • Far too strong - yuk!!!!

  • oh, well that's a different story then ^^ i dont have it, so i didnt know that, we were just discussing buying it with my mum. decided that having a darn 90 quid juicer in the kitchen was noisy enough, so we bought the next best thing, so now we have a kettle where you can choose 20, 60, 80 and 100 degrees, and it filters, too. takes quite a bit longer to boil though :D anyway, thanks for the reply, that does make more sense. im fussy about my milk XD

    :))

  • you need to read the instructions hold down red button till it flashes press and hold red button it dispences until you let go the amount is now set press and hold again until light flashes the quick cup is now programed

  • hmm.. how big is that cup? because my only problem is that neither the tefal quick cup nor the breville hot cup have settings that allow you to control the amount it dispenses... i need space for milk...

  • It doesnt even take the tea bag out for you?! Urgh

  • It also has filtered drinking water at room temperature. Which is what made up my mind to buy one for the sake of filtered drinking water.

Though the noise reminds me of the video game Doom from near two decades ago.

But filters need replacing every 50 litres which is about every 2 weeks at about $15 each. But such is the prize of filtered water.

Also you do save on wasting electricity on heating water you are not using.

Apart from the noise, but you can learn to dance to the beat a new drummer.

  • Nearly fifty quid to save a few seconds?

Does it use a lot less electricity than a kettle? Is it green?

I would have left the tea bag in a bit longer.
