My Stage 2 STI being raced from a roll against the 2.5RS I built and sold. The RS has a JDM STI Version 8 engine and a VF22 turbo. Dynos 320AWHP, weights sub 2800lbs, and redlines at 8200RPMs. Guess who wins?

  • looks like you never shouldve sold that car..lol

  • @crf150yo That car was fun, when it ran. Fixing broken stuff gets old quick though, and that car broke a LOT!

  • @sambarros lol well youll get that with any swapped car. if you dont mind me asking, how much did you sell it for? i cam across one with a wrx swap and its 8,500. i think thats too much haha

  • @crf150yo I believe I got $14,500 for it, but that was many years ago; I think back then a bone stock RS would have cost you those $8500.

  • @sambarros oh wow, i guess your right. well goodluck with the new sti, im sure shes treating you well :)

  • @crf150yo Haven't had that car in years now. I drive a Supercharged Corvette nowadays...

  • Ahahaha... That is MY STI that I am racing with MY Swapped 2.5RS. The RS dynoed 320 at the wheels and weighted less than 2800lbs. The STI at Stage 2 was making maybe 280 at the wheels and weights 3300 lbs. You do the math.

  • STi's have gotten heavier and slower since the version VI. I can't believe the new one weighs 3400 pounds. What a truck! What happened to the good old days of light weight 2.0 liter rockets that would dust any modern STi (or lancer evo for that matter)?

  • Yo bitch back to the kitchen :D

  • @hotshotchris65 GC/GF/GM are old cars now, maybe it's worse for me since i'm in canada but almost every bolt under the car is seized bushings are worn, my advice: if you can take it off, replace it. it will cost alot but in the end it will be a new car. of course budget comes into play, i'm fixing things slowly. good luck

  • @sambarros damn, even better haha

  • ^ what broke cause im thinking about doing this so i just want a heads up so i can do everything once instead of tice =) lol
