This is something I was tinkering around with wile the rain passes. I pulled some wire from and old motor and thought about scrapping it, but why not try to make some kind of wind generator. So i had some scrap wood and a old wiper motor laying around. it took about 1 hour to put together from start to finish. I did 2 test coils but I didn't glue them together or anything it was just to try out the jig. I think it worked pretty good, its just going to take a little practice. working with the used wire makes it a little hard to keep the coil straight.

very nice. I did the same thing with a hand-made counter, but tied into an old calculator. Press ON, then 1. the "switch" was connected to the "+" so the count went up that way. Love the idea for using the wiper blade motor though. frees the hands to do other stuff and less tiring :)
