After chasing this passenger special north along the UP Peoria Sub where it was traveling about 40mph, I hightailed it west on I-88 to Galt, IL, where I arrived just before the train came barreling through at 70mph.
I set my tripod on the passenger seat and took off, trying my best to keep the lead ES44 in frame, with some success as you can see. Halfway down the 2 mile-long road it turned to gravel, which made keep up even more exciting.

I got a new starter motor the day after you last saw my car. Plus, I had only had the car shut off for like a minute when I heard the train coming.
