13,000 taxis in New York City, but take a ride in Ben Bailey's cab, you know it isn't any ordinary taxi, because once the lights go off, you know you're in the Ca$h Cab, the TV game show in Ben's taxi that PAYS you. As you travel to your destination, you are asked general knowledge questions that gets harder and harder as you go along. During your travel if you get stumped, you can use a Shout-Out (someone on the phone or someone on the street) to help you. Also at one point along the way, you could stumble across a Red Light Challenge. Once you reach your destination, you can opt to go for Double or Nothing on a video bonus question. But be careful, because once you reach 3 strikes (get three questions wrong), the money is gone and you are pulled over and are literally out of the game, though have a free ride. So, what do you say? Want to ride in the Ca$h Cab?
This first part of this episode, 4 guys stumble into the Ca$h Cab and try to score it big. I can't even tell where they're going, because one of them already knows they're in the Ca$h Cab!

In the second season of the Canadian version, a third lifeline was added starting with the $100 questions. It's called a "swap out". If the passengers feel they can't answer a particular question, they go to the dispatcher on the radio, who gives them a new $100 question. Other then that, the game is the same in both New York and Toronto.

@cutterTML I'm a Canadian like you, and I'm not quite sure which one I prefer. I think both Ben Bailey and Adam Growe do a good job for their respective versions.
