Bob Weigel (Http://www.sounddoctorin.com) videos and clowns around while Paul plays the Crumar T1, a great hammond emulator of the late 70's. These machines have the basic elements of a DS-1/2 type synthesizer with the same chips for oscillation and filtration, though far fewer features. Only cutoff, resonance, decay and footages though a sustain or percussive envelope selection can also be made. Or the bass can be turned off for full width organ. They also give a wider number of bass notes than many combo organs. Great machine. Kinda towards an arp omni bass sound and three organ presets plus drawbars and a large number of percussion footage switches and two types of key click, volume and decay for paraphonic percussion.

  • this sound is so amazing, where can we buy this instrument?ebay?

  • @Mragdoll Every now and then. We have one that's got some cosmetic issues and was probably left somewhere damp I think. Shows some signs ... but they're too cool not to fix up obviously so when I get time..

  • I have a T1 that we restored ,we took out the faulty power supply and put in a couple "line lumps", except the bass "mode" switch is in reverse when it is off the bass works fine . When you switch it to any function, you lose the bass....hmmmm

  • @putzengiler I have schematics. If you want to pay a little consult time I can walk you through it pretty quickly probably.

  • This beast is extreme! Is that a portamento strip on the top?

  • @mewrth No it just has the bender lever on the left there.
