This is the maiden flight of my new Guanli A-10 purchased as an airframe from Nitroplanes.com. I used this setup.

HXT 2435 (370S) 4040kv Brushless Inrunner - two of them for $17.35 each from Hobbycity

TowerPro n20 Acro Brushless Speed Controller - two of them for $10.95 each from Hobbycity (don't forget about Towerpro N20 and L40 Programming Box for $3.75 from Hobbycity - you will need it to program these ESC)

Impeller Hub Set (w/Screws & Tools for EDF 55 & 64, 2mm) No-D-Cut (GWADP003A) - two pieces for $4.50 each from BPHobbies

Ducted Fan Rotor for GWS EDF-55 2245 x 6 - Original Style (GW/EDF55-5) - two pieces for $2.50 each from BPHobbies.

  • Like those squeaky wheels, very scale ... did you pay extra for them? Good thing that 2x4 was there, you'd still be coasting for another 1/4 mile.

  • @protusx

Any idea what kind of flight time you got with this?

Brother just built one up with a couple Turnigy 4400kv inrunners, Turnigy 20amp ESC's, and two 55mm Hyperflow EDF's. It got about three minutes of flight time before soft-cut on a 25c 2200mah lipo.

  • the wheels sound like mice fighting lol lol needs some oil.

Good flying! sounds/looks good in the air.

  • great airframe for the money for sure...and lol....ive had the same trouble landing as this thing seemingly does not want to slow down. The stock landing gear wire is horrible tho - I snapped one of the main wires just taxi-ing around on the ground, and then the front wire when i landed.

  • lol read the title description.....nice plane..im thinking of getting one.

  • Great video! What power system did you use? I just bought one. on subsequent flights were you able to slow your approaches down or were all of the landings hot?
