Collages of clips and photos from our trip to the Smithsonian National Zoo. It was a warm day in winter, all the animals were out and being photogenic, and we had a great time!

Oh shut up about animals in captivity. Some of these zoos take good care of them. Release them back in the wild and they all die or become extinct. These animals dont look mistreated. If u dont like zoos go back and play with your dogs which are the result of real human captivity.

Poor things...the tiger has such a tiny exhibit.

The National Zoo is a large zoo...yet it can't provide enough enrichment or space for the animals.

The pool is a lot bigger than it looks! It actually like the railings, uses them as head rests when taking naps.

What a great day you had at the National Zoo!
We visit the National Zoo once or twice a year and usually walk for five or six hours without stopping so we can try to see all our favorites.
Thank you for showing so many of them in your video. (You were definitely in the right places at the right time!)

Any time a creature with free will - man - reacts with his environment there will be something to criticize. I think the animals are pretty happy, and safe, and have better care, fewer dieases, and fewer parasites than they do in the wild. And better lifespans.
