I used to wrestle and focused on advanced techniques too much, when better basics would've got me MUCH easier wins. People just don't realize the value of fundamentals these days... xD

This seems as good a place to ask as any, so here goes. I main Akuma in sf4ae and I like to think I can hold my own in ranked matches; I'm definately not a high level player, but I can do more than 1 bnb, and have a general understanding of most matchups. I cannot seem to find any good tips or guides for Akuma vs Blanka anywhere and I'm tired of gettin beat by him all the time. Most people say just wait it out and block/counter/punish, but thats not really akuma style. Any other options?

No man .. i am also main in akuma ... Counter him , Chip him and catch by surprise .. thats the only way against blanka ..you can do jumping dive kicks etc because of his electric attack which CPU AI's use very efficiently ,

@akaisyaoran timing u have to figure out by urself but its the HK tatsu since it travels farther and has a larger hit box.

@Ravenex2 First of all we are at the second version of street fighter 4 better than the first but still full of problems and second you actually believe marvel versus capcom 3 is a serious game?LMAO wake up the game is not even out yet but from the gameplay footage we can all already tell that sentinel is again broken as fuck while other characters like artur and phoenix are shit.

when u do the cross hurricane for mid sweep, wat hurricane is it and when do u time it?

Wow. I could never get Akuma's mixup going, even though I've seen pro players do it all the time. This helps alot, showing that your options for a solid mixup are different based on the spacing of your sweep! Much thanks to Tokido and Option-select.
