You guys are lucky.. I lost my mom early in life and my dad never gave two shits about me.. Because of how me and my brother grew up sad, and poor, no one wants anything to do with us.. Can't say I relate to this song, but I love Aaron's music!

Great song.....He is extremely under-rated today....It blows my mind that people don't shoot this song to the top 10, and yet listen to the UltraS*** that is on. A truly great singer, that sings for and from the "Average American", that gets 20 times less respect than he deserves.

Aaron Tippin is my favorite male country singer of this generation, because he has that soulful and admirable voice nobody can deny. What I love about his music is that all his songs are about loyalty, honesty, dedication,patriotism,spirituality, and what country music is all about. This song falls in each category. This song deserves to be a number one hit.
