hi can you update the description please as there are several blue holes in the world. it would be great to know which one this is! great video

Actually doubles (21\35 or better 18\45) and EAN50 deco stage are enough to dive the Arch- it is only 3 tanks and not 5 ( the exposition is not that long...). If someone wants to see the outer wall, which is really beautiful, then more tanks are needed.

i agree babe4fish13, but there are some good dive story sites on the net too. Try the myscubastory site. They have real life dive stories and dive accident videos. Put myscubastory into google, and its the first result.

is this the blue hole in long island in the bahamas??? it doesnt look like it.
-
does anyone know when (in what year) people first discovered the arch and completely swam through it??? I cannot find the answer yet...

You can also jump out of an airplane with a parachute you do not have training for or know exactly how it works. Would be pretty stupid, agree?
Of course you can dive the blue hole as a recreational diver. But know that you are not prepared if anything goes wrong and there will most likely noone be able to help you. And things tend to go wrong if you are poorly equipped and/or not enough trained.

u can do the arch as recreational too...

mesmerizing beauty? more like a warning to me...

rochelimit55555: The Arch is very beautiful indeed, it's really a great dive, but everything you need to do is to understand whether you're qualified to dive the Arch, Yuri was a recreationl single tank diver, Blue Hole requires technical dive training and the dive should be conducted with 2 doubles and 2 deco stage tanks (4 tanks) It's just not for ammateur divers and certainly it's a warning for them.

rochelimit55555, That's fairly OK to be warned! The Arch is 55 - 60 m deep, not a recreational dive but there a lot of shallow and beautiful places with lots of coral and sea life to enjoy!
