Thanks for posting this it looks amazing. We're going there next month and are counting the seconds til we go. We're on a houseboat for a week, any suggestions about where to base ourselves?

Cool. Seen the house boats on the river, and look like great set ups. Depending on how much fresh is still in the river...the best bet would be close to the mouth, as we spent lots of time fishing the mangroves around centre island. ENJOY!
