i have no actual words for how much i love this song.
if it were me or the last copy of this song in the world on the edge of a cliff and one of us had to go over into oblivion... well, naturally i'd throw the song off the cliff, i'm not a fucking idiot. however i'd try to throw it onto a small ledge not too far down so i could return and rescue it later on.

Well Simon, what you neglect to mention is that I was also the editor on the previous Yatsura promo and that's where I made the suggestion. I take no credit at all for the execution of the idea (which I though was great btw).

Hey i have all the singles on vinyl and cd if you want a copy of anything?

So great. Don't suppose you have the B Side to either this or Plastic Ashtray? I remember a track called Got The Sun that was amazing... I need to track that sucker down.

Urusei were and still are one of the greatest bands ever. One of my all time favourites. I used to correspond with Elaine quite regularly, in the days before emails.

HTF did this band not get massive?? I love all their albums, especially the 1st one. Seen them in King Tuts in about '96 or '97. Great vid!
... Urusei... Yatsura...?
Did this band take it's name from the anime or something? Urusei Yatsura is this really popular anime/manga in Japan...0.o

Yeah they did. Three of the members are now in a band called Projekt A-ko taken from... yes, you guessed it... Project A-ko.

This video was directed and produced by myself, Simon Hitchman, and my film-making partner, Roberto Roarke, back in 1996. The concept originated with ourselves not the editor who was hired after the promo had already been shot. It was indeed inspired by Warhol's Factory, which we recreated in a draughty old film studio in King's Cross. Other scenes were shot in the backstreets near the station.

Wow, thanks for volunteering that information. It's a great video, one of my favourites.
