  • Oh God I wish I could get this album again it is one of Aretha's best!!! Sang it REEREE.....

  • Her voice is simply wonderful. Wonder why this album and song flopped. Pity

  • @MrRocky9000 I couldn't have said it better as it relates to Aretha's voice in her prime and no one being able to touch her....prime for prime no one could and their is currently no one that can out sing Aretha in her prime.

  • Yeah that was '75 when that came out in the fall, Mr. D.J. was the hit from that album and we played it to death... but with all due respect I've been an Aretha fan since her Columbia Records days but i'm also a Natalie Fan cause I can listen to both version with the same fondness and appreciation.... love you Rere and you too "Sweetie"

  • @mystkpizzaMAYBE IT WAS WRITTEN FOR NATALIE BUT , Aretha song it at the same time in 1975 on her album you.Im sorry I never thought that Natalie cole was a good singer, yes when she first came out I was a fan but she doesnt have the pipes of the other girls, they will wear her down ! I had both of those albums back in the day Natalies inseprable and Arethas you.No disrespect but that girl just doesnt cut it for me!

  • @darkebony 'scuse you.... this song was written for Natalie for her debut album in 1975 and she tore it up.... Aretha covered the song in 1987 while I like Aretha's version I LOVE Natalies cause it's the original version and Natalie has a very good voice... List to Natalie sing The Beatles & Elton Johns LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS

  • No one can do Aretha she is the Queen.

  • @62chucky is that why natalie got ahold of this song marvin yancy her husband, wow I never knew that, she could not do it like Aretha, see she kills this song, Natalie isnt a very good singer, never has been.

  • No Aretha, it was you.....
