I checked up on how zabimaru ends up with a manly voice. Possibly Mayuri changed it's gender since he gave Renji and Hisagi pamphlets. Or she just has a voice deeper than a wwe wrestler.

Thinking about how Ichigo, like every other Shinigami, has an inner world and can communicate with their blades through meditation (Jinzen)... you'd think a shinigami would be smart enough to do firsthand training against their zanpakuto. Renji definitely could have used the extra work, as this scene shows.

For those wondering, Zabimaru's female monkey half is voiced by a woman. Seriously!
