  • As a kid reading these books I always thought:

Why didn't Aslan show up sooner and spare everyone the trouble??

Was he off on vacation or something?

  • Beautiful illustration

  • YHWH is coming back!

  • "There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days... And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD."

    (Isaiah 65:19-25)

  • Once Christ comes back..nothing will ever be the same again!!

  • Aslan reminds me of the great lion of judah

  • @leeroynagginsYes, it became more satisfying in the end (the longer you wait, the more you'll appreciate it in the end). Also, it would also teach both sides various lessons. You see, Aslan is Narnia's answer to God. He lets things happen to start something.

If he came earlier, the Narnians would be a bit snobbish and the Telmarines wouldn't surrendered humbly, meaning that they will keep on fighting, bringing more harm than good.

  • @amm019

But did things ever really become all that great?

  • @leeroynaggins

I thought the same thing when I was reading it, but I've later heard that if Aslan did do that, things would not be as great has they became.

  • "He has other countries to attend to"

He never does things for no reason, maybe he held back so it can start what should be done.

  • very cool video
