Clean freshwater is one of our most precious and most threatened natural resources. In China, for example, as much as 70% of rivers, lakes and reservoirs are polluted. Many chemicals released from textile factories threaten human health and the environment.
We're challenging some of the worlds most popular clothing brands to work with their all of their suppliers to eliminate the release of toxic chemicals into our water.

Why do people still buy from Nike and Adidas? Isn't exploiting poor chinese children already enough? It's horrible what they've done to such a beautiful country as China once was.

It would be easy to get Nike or Adidas to listen. If enough people refused to buy their product for one year, they'd listen, but most people would rather have a brand name shoe than worry about any act of corporate malfeasance or the environment.
Many people, especially in the west, care until it effects their comfort or capital gain, and then it is a problem for another place or generation. Most prefer to display brand names than concern themselves with their kid's or grand-kid's futures.
