On, July 11, 2008, Cindy Yurth, a non-Navajo reporter for the Navajo Times, went to the 50th Anniversay of the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in UT/AZ. She did not cover this event but pursued an unrelated story that had strange assumptions and quotes. A personal email I sent to the Navajo Times was taken as an official Letter To The Editor from my current Navajo Tribal employer--a position I hold as a TEMP. The disclaimer printed by the Navajo Times Editorship claims that I facilitated the interview and met person(s) interviewed by Cindy Yurth: this is not true and the ethics of the reporter and the Navajo Times is questionable. Retribution, pressure and harassment from the Navajo Times has been pursued against myself and my employer since I had refuted the Navajo Times in another separate email intentional written to be unworthy of print. The Tabloid went on to defend their non-Navajo reporter in a disclaimer of the July 24, 2008 edition of the tabloid--Ford (more) (less)
this paper does have a lot of crap...employers who blackmail, hold grudges, they are greedy, ( lol relax gerbils), but, this paper reports truth, and regardless of the endless gourd dance stories this paper has done good, a lot of good, they report all the ugly truths of our tribe...truths we wouldnt know anything about if not for the paper. The editor deals with never ending crap so dont even presume to know him. , and also, why does the paper look like ass? i
