I think he's talking about tone... not about which voice you're using. If you had sung the first verse with the same tone, as in 1:13, you would've sung it with softness.
Your voice is beautiful! Always challenge yourself to learn everything you can about it! Stretch your octaves! (both up and down) I'd love to hear a toni braxton song from you!
Please let me know if you ever get around to making a video with in a lower key!

thanks! yea audacity, the program i taped it with, is crap. it doesn't capture the loud parts very well...i have other videos though where i go all out! haha.
