T5 Tent and CFL Closet #7

Adjusted in tent again. Lollipopping in flower and supercropping in veg. Motiv303 clones are doing good.
- VEG - Grown in a closet under a 125 watt CFL(6400K) & a 200 watt CFL(6400k) - Total of 325 watts and 17,500 lumens
- BLOOM - Grown in a 4'x4'x7' grow tent under 2(two) 216 watt T5's(each 4 ft X 4 bulb, 3000k) & a 96 watt T5(2 ft X 4 bulbs, 3000k)- Total of 528 watts and 48,000 lumens
- Strains: Sensi Star, Great White Shark, White Widow, New York City Diesel, Purple Kush, Chocolope & Blue Dream, Valley OG, Headband and 1 Unknown
- Soil, Nutrients & Additives: Fox Farm : (soil) Ocean Forest Mix, (nutrients) Grow Big, Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom. Xtreme Gardening : (additives) AZOs, MYKOs, and CalCarb. (additives) Superthrive, pH Down, (rooting hormone) Clonex

i have more trouble germinating seeds than anything else lately for some reason the seeds will pop and then just rot in the dirt

maybe its too cold i dunno temp has been steady 70 degrees

@jadecat4321 .. My beg area runs a steady 75 most of the day. Its still cold on the floor. try a heat mat. I picked one up and it really helped with my clones.

I saw you say somewhere you liked the T5 growing but thought HPs was better. I think if you build a better PAR in your lighting on the T5 you will see that the T5 can outperform HPS due to more usable light and less wasted in the green.

Try using these bulbs for bloom next time under T5 and tell me if the buds are more dank and just as big if not bigger than your 600 watt HPS.

@jadecat4321 you can never go wrong with GOOD OLD SCHOOl,..saucer dish with a paper towel folded several times into a square, and keep it saturated, set it on your counter, THATS ALL

I promise they will germ EVERY TIME !!

yeah. But it actuly turns out that i was kinda wrong, saying that it wont work at all, cause he's done it before, in flower, and had really good results. Check out his NYC d harvest. he supercroped that in flower. Ive only done supercropping on 4 of my plants, and i did it in veg. I might give it a try in flower, only if I have too. My first plant ever i didnt top, and when it was about 5 weeks in, I tied the main kola down, kinda bent over, like it was supercroped,but didnt break any thing.

@Bret1Maverick ur right he was talkin about cropping it over at like 3:18..... but he didnt, the plants he cropped were in the veg tent

@droopfrogg 3:18, that plant is atleast 3 weeks in flower, maby even 5. start the vid at 3:18 he says 2 seconds after that, that he was thinking about supercropin them, and actuly he did it with a NYC d that he send me a older vid of, when it was in flower, and it actuly turned out pretty nice. Im too scared to do it after 12/12 starts, but he did it and it didnt mess anything up. But the plant the whole origonal comment was about the plant he is showing at 3:18 into the vid.you rewatch it again

@Bret1Maverick naw man all of those plants he did that to r still in veg, he isnt dumb enough to hard stress train a budding plant, i think u need to rewatch it

@droopfrogg right. i was saying i didnt think it would be a good ideah, since those branches he wanted to supercrop had big kola's just starting to take off. i was saying if he supercroped it, then thats gona take atleast 2 or 3 days to start growing good again. it wouldnt make thoes buds get as big as they normaly would, ive tied the main kola down before and got the same effect, only i didnt snap my stem. just did plain old LST. but yeah, Ive never supercroped in flower.
