Mark Driscoll goes after the men at his church who have attended for years and yet still abuse, neglect, and dishonor the woman in their life. Mark has had enough of this. You can visit http://www.marshillchurch.org to download the entire sermon: Marriage and Men from the Trial Series.

He uses the word "woman" as though they are sinless paragons of virtue.

Yeah, men should (fill in the blanks).

But where's a sermon calling WOMEN to account for the emotional terrorism, slutty behavior, and rebellion that they are prone to? Not holding my breath for equal chastisement of the "fairer" sex.

How much congregation did he lose after that screamfest?

My "views" are the bible. The idea that a husband could be a rapist is nowhere in the bible. There is not even a hint of that. And in fact, Paul makes perfectly clear that there should be no such thing. The reason for that is obvious. It's nobody else's business what goes on in the privacy of a married couple's bedroom. A woman never had the authority for refusing sex to her husband until it came from man made gov't in very recent history. This thing's only counterargument is "LOVE ONE ANOTHER!"

But that is all I am going to say any further because I have studied the bible. and understand that "Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him." is what the bible says, and I don't want to be like you. So have a great day brother, I pray that God will work in your heart.

and you took scripture out of context. You took the Words of God and changed them to fit your outlook. What you have done is become a false teacher and are no more correct than Joel Osteen. All you are doing is taking Gods word and rubbing it in the mud... blaspheming. You also have insulted a brother, you have built up a hatred to Mark, I'm sure Jesus would be proud. However You can argue all you want, Your views are not God's views and God's views have already shown you to be wrong.

I'm not stupid. Take a look at my channel. I consider myself very intelligent. I'm eager to learn and I love semantics. I listen to Supreme Court oral argument like many people listen to the evening news. I'm not going to testify for Christ, I'm going to explain what the bible says. Ordinary men being accused of raping their own wives is anything but uplifting and it's obviously non-Biblical. Pretending to be for Christ while you accuse husbands of being rapists is clearly dishonest.

Okay, well not that I am not enjoying this but are you planning on having a conversation soon? And might I make a suggestion, If we are going to have a conversation lets have one about Jesus Christ and His saving power, in hopes that someone will see two brothers in Christ discussing what God has done and get saved rather than two dummies arguing with each other. If you don't and would rather discuss the headship of men then I will, but I think this would give a better testimony for Christ.
