Is this really the best fashion photographer you could find to speak about PhaseOne? I cringe every time I see this kind of amateurish crap touted as if it's something to be admired. "Experienced and successful", seriously? Common PhaseOne, you need to catch up on the quality of your marketing, it's badly lagging behind the quality of your products.

This is completely embarrassing - terrible lighting, amateur models and no compositional sense whatsoever, which unfortunately goes to show that "it's not what equipment you have that matters - it's what you do with it!".

This is a pity for Phase One as I think that they create really good software and great digital cameras. As an experienced professional photographer myself, I would like to see impressive work from recognised experts in their fields. This kind of rubbish does them no favours.

Listening to this guy makes me laugh. He talks in such a fast forward voice without telling anything interesting about the product. I am german myself and he sounds more like a robot reading from the product guide for this camera.

Phase One delivers one of the best capture platforms and RAW converters I have ever worked with.

But for the price of the IQ180 (kit) I could get a Leaf Aptus-II 12 (kit) + 3-4 good lenses and/or a bunch of tricked out accessories.

I really don't care if I can park my truck on my digital back, freeze it or boil it in vinegar (or whatever it was that they did).

It's a no brainer.

And yeah... The pictures does NOT do the back justice!

I know you can take a phase one image almost anywhere providing you shoot for the highlights, but with such depth why blow out the highlights? They say dig is better than film but I say not so when it comes to high key. Transparency was and still is stunning in high key, a roller-coaster of transitions. To this shoot: I don't like to comment on such or I would be doing it for a millennia non stop to cover modern digital work. but lets just say I do a lot lot better.

Having used multiple Phase Ones combined with Profoto lights and Capture One, gotta say these pictures could be soooo much better...

1:51 for example, why the black bag in the foreground, good composition totally ruined imo.
