Anton takes lessons in classical piano. He also plays violin, accordion, pan-flute, harmonica, etc. In summer of 2007 he successfully completed Five-Week Summer Performance Program at Berklee College of Music (Jazz/ Violin). In 2008 he has been chosen the national first place winner of the Joyce Walsh Junior Disability Award. Anton is totally blind from birth secondary to septo-optic dysplasia (SOD). He is a student of Perkins School for the Blind, Watertown, MA. Participating in A. Ramón Rivera Piano Competition was Anton's first experience competing with sighted peers.
Dougie and I really loved your playing Anton. You sound fantastic. I've been taking beginner piano lessons recently and it's such a treat to hear someone play so well.

Anton, you did a wonderful job! I really like this piece a lot! I forgot to tell your mom, but we got our piano delivered back to our house. If you visit again, we could play songs for each other! I think this is one of my favorite pieces that you have played...well done!
