@darylali Naturally overtime it will become easier if you view you practice as lasting a lifetime and not pushing. I tried sitting in the posture at the beginning of my session for a while until it became uncomfortable - then moved to a more comfortable position, gradually it became easier and I could sit without discomfort for longer and longer periods. One thing you can do is sit on the floor with the soles of both feet touching and gently apply pressure to the knees pushing outwards.

can you recommend any stretches for half lotus? I've been trying to get it for a couple weeks now, but it just hasn't clicked yet.
