  • @LionTheHeart1010 Hi...just wanted to follow up and see how you are doing? My 6 month test to see if I am cured or not will be in January. Getting a wee bit fearful that I may not have cleared the virus, because I still do not have the energy I used to.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

    Petra

  • When I was 13 I was deionized with hepatitis c ( im 23 now) and I was infected at birth with a blood transfusion in the 80s. I received a few treatments peginterferon + ribavirin and ribavirin + pegasys 8 months each but I responding a bit or not at all. I can related to what your going thru the only thing I can tell you is to stay strong and positive.

  • @Allianoranet I am so sorry to hear about the non response. It is scary to realize how many people I am meeting and talking to these days are nonreponders.

When I was diagnosed 2 years ago in May, my first fear of course was that my now 19 year old daughter has it too. I'm grateful to say that she is fine. There are new treatments coming out within a year or two, and you will find a way to beat this thing too.....hang tough ...and stay in touch! Thanks for following pls help me spread the word!
