  • i have a question what fuel do i use for 87 octane, 91 octane, and 93 octance cuz i dnt want to mess up my car

  • @ShenderTheHobit You'll use 87 octane when you have an 87 octane tune loaded in the car, 91 with a 91 octane tune, and 93 with a 93 octane tune. You can always load a lower octane tune in and use higher octane fuel, but you never want lower octane fuel in the car than what you have loaded in the computer.

  • do you have or know if there is one of those sct tuner for a 1995 ford thunderbird 4.6 lx?

  • So if new tunes come out, will Bama replace one of the three that you can have?

  • what if i already have a sct livewire? does it just get emailed? if so i have a 500 dollar tune for our shelby will that still be there?

  • I have a crown victoria police interceptor 2004 with a 4.6. I do some tune in strategy on my sct sf3. But, when i select 91 octane, my car take more fuel efficient then the 87 selection and i dont see any change on my performance. Can you help me for a custom tune. I have a spacer on my throttle, cat back maganflow system, K&N air filter on my air box with a ram air and my sct device with 4.10 rear ratio. Tanks Rick

  • @peter17290 you unhook it

  • @xXLtSlappyXx call bama or wherever you got your tuner from and let them know about your problem so they can let you know what you need to do

  • @zomeos i just installed 91 octane and my car would not start it just kinda sputtered and i tried to put it back to stock setting and now it wont even turn on what should i do

  • I had a problem when I loaded Octane 93 Performance, I called Bama and they told me to take out the Ventura tube from my Airaid cold air intake and now it runs great. It feels not like the same car when I purchased my 2008 Mustang Gt, it feels like I have alot more power, no lag between shifts, better throttle response, the tunes are very easy to dowload into the car, so easy a Caveman can do it.

  • I know you're going to think I'm an idiot, but I'm 16 and I have a 2011 Mustang V6 and am interested in tuning my car, getting new exhaust, CAI, and whatnot. But my question is this... What is "(insert number here) octane? Is that a different kind of gas? Because from my knowledge, I only know of one kind of gas that works with the V6s and that's 91. Also, what brand exhaust do you recommend? I've been deciding between Roush, Bassani, Ford Racing, Borla...

  • After the Load is complete you just remove it from the plug on the left hand side and start up and drive the car? or does the tuner have to stay hooked on the car the whole time you drive?
