  • That charge was WEAK!

  • @KeiPyn24 might sound weak but if you were near it or close to the muzzle you wouldn't think so being how many pounds of black powder was used to fire it off!

If you stand near the muzzle of the 32 pounder, you would not be alive as the concussive blast would kill you.

  • Wow, we fire bigger loads than that out of a nine-pounder. That was pathetic.

  • @Scorndrake Being close to the muzzle of anything whilst it is shooting is dangerous. I have shot all kinds of artillery, served in the US Army field artillery, and have shot the 32 lb cannon and the 9" gun at Old Ft. Jackson in Savannah. Your charge may have been 2 lbs but when you are doing a program for the public you do have to keep safety in mind. However, from the video, it is WEAK! Cheers

  • Aye that Be a Big Cannon. Me needs one of those in me Backyard. :)
