My imagining of what We Three Kings might have sounded like at Christmas time around the household of the great jazz pianist Dave Brubeck. For guitarists, a transcription of this arrangement is available at my website, www.BobEvansGuitar.com
this is awesome!!!! I will share it with my grandpa (Dave). He has two versions of 'we three kings', a chorale piece and a piece featuring my uncles. Have you heard them?
Brilliant Bob! I love the title. I have a cd of Jonathan Burchfield where he combines classical standards with Christmas songs. Maybe you should do one with jazz and Christmas songs.
Another superb piece of artistry by a man who has truly mastered his skills as bona fide professional! A master at his trade who has the ability to musically-architecturally rejuvenate and enhance classics from the past in a fully complimentary manner! Classics which stood the test of time while leaving room to prove that a new coat of paint would neither deprive nor distract from the original artists concept. Great going Bob!
