A "one of a kind" set of bubble lights made from what were originally Christopher Radko that had all the original bulbs burned out. I replaced the incandescent lamps with custom made LED modules and a small heating resistor to make the bubbles. The LED's are all cool white "top hat" style.

  • (Page 2) I have such an attachment to Bubble Lights; I remember when I was a little child, I'd sit on the floor underneath our Christmas Tree and be absolutely mesmerized as I watched those Bubblers for hours! I've always kept a bit of the childlike wonder within me so I can still enjoy such things! You've got a money-maker on your hands here, FortyFivePlayer - the Bubbler Light was the best selling, most sought-after light at Christmas in it's time. Thank you kindly for the memories!

  • @starchildstrider Thanks for watching- I have more bubble light stuff coming-

  • @fortyfiveplayer Great work... would you happen to have a circuit diagram? Also, did you fabricate the circuit board out of perf board? Or, is it custom made? If so, where can I get some? I've got about 25 or so bubble lights I would like to convert to LED...

  • FortyFivePlayer - I am amazed! I erroneously thought that the Bubblers had to have the incandescent bulbs to create enough heat to encourage them to bubble, but you have proven they don't! My father loved Bubbler Lights so much that over the years, when one of the light bulbs inside the base would burn out, he'd carefully open them up and replace the bulb! I was dismayed with the advent of LED's; thinking that Bubblers would be no more. My hat is off to you! (continued next post >>)

  • Great project! It's a shame nobody is manufacturing these; bubble lights are my favorite kind, but we've switched everything over to LEDs to save power.

  • @redneckrollercoast1 Oh ok- The ones at Lowes are standard lamps (incandescent) - there are no real bubble lights made with LEDs. That will change if I can get my way..

  • @fortyfiveplayer no i have a set i got from lowes and they bubble like those just fine i don't know if there LED's though.

  • @redneckrollercoast1 I've seen the fake lookalike bubble lights with LEDs, but they do not really bubble- the fake bubbles are just inside plastic solid rods.

  • @fortyfiveplayer they sell these now!

  • @bigclivedotcom I DO Have an adaptor... It's what I use to Power My Bubbler Night Light With.... Will Have to Go check out ebay... My Night light came from a Freind in Florida....
