they found the teenagers over myspace to play the parts.... i didnt see the movie but i guess someone without filming experience is less good as someone with experience... but i think (tho i dont know the film but the trailer) they did a good job...

i really enjoyed this movie, but i have to agree, the acting was pretty bad at times. just sort of unnatural.

but the whole vibe of the film was still really cool.

the acting in this film is good. it's just not traditional acting. it's not hollywood acting. i dig it. there are more ways than one to direct a film. its an art form like painting, music, or anything else.
