@CantStayAway He died, unfortunately. There was a massive car crash at the end of season 4 and he spent a year on life support and died during the first episode of season 5.

@bOembastiCc She and Robert did indeed get back together in Season 4, then Kitty found out she had cancer, that brought them even closer, she went into remission and is fine now, but at the last episode of the season, there was a multi-car wreck as the Walkers (except Justin and Rebecca) were heading home after a group dinner. Everyone was ok except Robert and Holly whom both were unconscious at the end. Rob Lowe is leaving the show so it is believe that Robert is dead or in a coma.
