When I saw the video..the original one...all I could think of was misguided US soldiers raised on ninetendo machines....those unfortunate kids who had unwise parents that bought for them the blood and guts real life video games..These types of videos were created on purpose in order to desensitize our youth so they would be ok and think its fun to go around and shot people....like I saw in that video..Manning is a hero..and exposed the brutality .....military leaders give orders..not those kids

Bradley manning is a us soldier and whistle blower. He should be promoted a general instantly. Soldiers should be rewarded for doing the right thing.

@RogerOnTheRight : These wars need less conventional forces and more "special" guys building networks and destroying the enemies networks. Sometimes you have to spare the little fish to get the big one. Conventional troops are reactive instead of pro-active. We need more advisors inbedded with foreign units so as to not look like an occupying force(crusaders) ;don't play into the enemies propaganda. Sorry, I just get bitter.

@RogerOnTheRight : I agree with you. As a veteran, that would've never been handled this way. We live in a strange world. Who knows, the leaker may have wanted celebrity status(everyone wants to be famous these days).If he is a true believer he must be willing to face the consequences. I dont have a problem with the engagement of arm inviduals. I just felt the van should have been followed. In counter-insurgency intelligence(human) is a must. This war is handled to coventional.

The only reason why troops are in Afghanistan is because they're building a Oil Pipeline that goes from Iraq, up to Russia, across Europe, then over to Canada and the US.

Afghanistan aren't getting a piece of the pie, and the troops are protecting the builders of the pipeline.

Plus, if you look at any Arms maker, most people on the board of Directors are well know politicians, so all the time there is a war, they make money.
